Old Man

The kids finally have an Old Man - Daddy turned 30 this weekend! I'm relieved because it's alot of pressure being married to a younger man...especially when he reminds you of it often.
He had on 2nd Grandma's glasses and had all the kids giggling

Kathy cooked up a big seafood feast - Theron was in heaven. Also, we had a surprise visit from Grandpa David, he snuck in in the middle of the night to wish Theron a Happy Birthday. He said "I was there for the first one, I might as well be there for the 30th!" My mom, Gale and Ashton also came to visit for the weekend.

The kids enjoyed the seafood too...well kinda, they are related to me afterall :)

This was more like it - the cupcakes!

The 3 main decorators enjoying their work.

Kaitlyn and Morgan got Daddy chocolate - to share of course

Saturday night Sime Construction (Theron's company) had a BBQ - out in the middle of a field. Tyson entertained himself with the camp chairs...

The girls found some friends and played soccer and chase - all the while avoiding cow patties and gopher holes.

And a good game of follow the leader...I love Tyson "hey guys, wait up!"

Saturday was a busy day - the kids (and Daddy) also ran in the kids race for the Sweet Pea festival here in Bozeman. This is only part of the team - Tyson, Olivia, Gabby, Kaitlyn, Gabe, & Adyson.

Daddy had a group of 4 (of 1,000 kids) so he was busy

What would you rather be doing on your birthday but this? I think at this point he was thanking me...

After the race was the parade. Awesome parade, just a little long in the hot sun.

Kaitlyn screamed when she saw this float - yes, that's Cinderella and her Prince. There were a couple other princesses on this float too but Cinderella waved at her!

BIG NEWS - probably should have made it's own post but Kaitlyn lost her first tooth this weekend too.

Here it is...about to come out...

The next morning, you can see the void in the smile as well as the 'Fairy Gold' that the tooth fairy brought.

See, it's all shiny!

Uncle J and Auntie E also stopped by on their way to (and from) North Dakota.
Addy's birthday is on the 11th so she did a little unwrapping.
"Oh my gosh I can't believe I got a...
...what the heck is it?"

"Oh yeah, a Piggy Bank" Good thing the cousins were around to help. Hopefully she gets some money saved up for college now - Happy 2nd Birthday Addyson!
