Friday morning...headed to the hospital so we got our final picture as a family of 5!
April 29th...a nice snowy day to have a baby!
All checked in around 9 am.
Then around 2:45 we had ourselves a baby BOY!!!
8# 70z and 20 3/4" long with lots of dark hair!
This is the most alert picture...he was about 3 hours old. I couldn't get over the dark hair. The other three were born with little or no blonde hair.
Green grandma was the first to arrive on the scene

Then...the clan came to see their new baby!
They liked all of mommy's snacks...

He did come give Mommy some snuggles!

He's an old pro by now...
All cleaned up...just no name yet
By the next morning we had a name Devin Andrew. It wasn't easy because some of the names we'd picked ahead of time just didn't seem to fit.

Morgan came to visit with Grandpa and Ginny and decided that it would be OK if she held him...what a sweetie!
Green Grandma even came back for more snuggles.
2nd Grandma rounded up the troops again to come pay a visit.
She's been looking forward to having this baby for quite some time.
Mommy has been looking forward to it as well. I'm so relieved that it went well and everyone is healthy and home again.
Speaking of home...we peeled out of there after 24 hours because all was well. We figured we'd be more comfortable at home.
He fell asleep 2 minutes into the ride home and took a nice long nap after that.
Welcome sweet baby Devin...now the fun begins!
