We caught the weekend flight to Boise in mid November to see Aunt Bethany in Idaho.
The weather was perfect and we found this fun playground to run around on.
My attempt at family pictures but I had my old camera and well...it's the best it can do :)
So no, we didn't fly we drove - 8 hours down and 8 hours home. Look who got the front seat.
Then...the reason we came. Of course to see Aunt Bethany but to go to a Boise State football game!
Um yeah, Aunt Bethany did good on the seats. 3rd row up in the End Zone.
Thanks Aunt Bethany (and Jake) !!!
Tyson was LOVING this!
Our view. Our only wish was that they played a little better.
The halftime marching band was pretty amazing to see.
View to the left.
Our endzone.
There were quite a few people there but not a whole lot of cheering. They don't lose too much but it seemed like they liked to sit and watch and complain about the refs calls and coaching techniques. Like most places I suppose.
I was fascinated watching this guy, who was in charge of the t-shirt launcher in the shape of a hotdog. He took his job seriously and I just wondered...if he's ever considered a career change.
Halftime brought Tyson some new gear. A Boise State hat.
We're going to have to bend that brim but it'll do for now.
Kaitlyn even managed to get a new shirt out of the deal.
The night ended in a loss for the Broncos but we had fun cheering for them anyway.
The next morning we were the first ones in the pool!
What's a hotel stay with out a little pool time? :)
Then onto Cabelas...
Fishies
Turtles
Then onto the big stuff.
So cool.
Now...the hat.
Tyson insists on keeping the flat brim.
We had 8 hours of driving home to convince him otherwise.
But...it didn't happen. It's still flat and has his favorite team on it...so I guess we're just going to have to live with it. And, at least he took the stickers off.
