Somebody took a fall off the trampoline one Wednesday night...so after a few hours of obvious pain we ended up here. As you can see, he was fairly happy with himself. Warm blankets, a TV, and nurses that were overly nice to him. He was willing to stay longer :)
After an x-ray they decided that it was a fractured elbow so they were going to splint it and send us to the orthopedic surgeon in a couple days.

Tyson had made this card for Devin while we were gone.
He is such a sweetheart and very empathetic.
The full story is Devin and Tyson were sitting on the trampoline and a bug (beetle specifically) landed on the mesh. Devin scrambled to get off the trampoline away from the man-eating bug and managed to land on the ground, right on his elbow. Mommy was doing yard work and did not see anything but Tyson took Devin inside and got him milk, a snack, the IPad, and his mankie to help him feel better. What a nice big brother!
This was the aftermath of the orthopedic surgeon, still fractured but no surgery needed - yeah! So he's got this on until sometime in June.

Thankfully it's the left so he can still make nice drawings and do his school work. It has not slowed him down one bit so we're glad it casted. Now...if we can keep him from doing damage to the other one it'll be a miracle.
