Mini-vacation

The kids and I loaded up last Monday to take a mini-vacation to visit family and friends west of the Divide. The weather was rather crummy and cold the entire time we were there so we didn't do a ton of outdoor activities, mostly just visited. Oh, and I didn't take a ton of pictures but I find that I usually don't have enough hands free to take them. So there were alot of Tyson (for the baby book).

We stayed with my mom (a.k.a Green Grandma) and Papa Gale the entire week we were there. I think they enjoyed the company and the assistance during cleanup but were probably glad to get their quiet house back.

We got to spend a day with Nana & Big Pop Pop. Here's Nana, remembering how it's done.

We also celebrated Big Pop Pop's birthday a bit early because they will be heading to Delaware for a visit during his real birthday. He's got a fresh stash of black licorice and a puzzle book.

Playing silly games with Green Grandma.

Bellied up the bar with Grandpa - little early for a sippy of milk don't you think?

Doing the baby dance with Ginny.

This was a cute clip of the girls feeding Grandpa's horses. Kaitlyn really enjoyed the horses this time around. Next time, if the weather cooperates, we'll take her for a ride.

Uncle J and Auntie E joined us on Friday evening @ Green Grandmas. Here's the two cousins getting reaquainted.

Walking with Green Grandma. We couldn't believe how much growing Addy had done since we saw her in March...she's definitely on the move.

Uncle J holding the Tyson-man a.k.a mini Theron.

We took a walk to work off dinner and to enjoy the first nice evening since we arrived.

The view of the main dam - I had forgotten how scenic it is around TFalls.

The kids were actually into it too. They asked a bunch of questions and were quiet for a bit while looking at the water.

Saturday we headed to Kalispell and stayed with Uncle J and Auntie E. We also got to visit my Uncle Mike and Rita - no pictures but it was a nice visit.

We stayed with Uncle Bob (or Mr. Bob) and Aunt Stacy on Sunday night. They were perfect hosts, as always, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Our last stop was to visit the Pavlik Electric gang - here pictured with Uncle Jay and Cathy. Cathy took the girls flower picking and wore them out nicely for the drive home.

My Mother's Day present was a couple of new oak barrels for planting flowers. But, of course the girls cannot stay out of them - here, they had made a birthday cake for Chaz. He looks thrilled!
