Turkey Day

Grandpa came to visit for the week so Daddy could have a hunting partner...oh and so the girls had somebody to hang on in the evenings.

Tyson even warmed up a few times - here he is helping plan the hunt for the next day

TURKEY DAY! Aunt Cole kept the kids occupied while Mommy got the turkey started

After games it was Playdough - trees with rather large snowflakes on them

Kaitlyn and Morgan being 'big hungry daddys' and stomping around the house...is the turkey done yet?

Dinner time! My sister and Mike also made the trip over to do some hunting so we had a full table.

OK - one without the cook

Kids table - nothing susupicious about that smile Morgan

Hanging out with Aunt Cole....everyone was getting sleepy...

After a little decorating in the house on Friday we all went outside to cool off

We started out sledding around the house (no hills, just on the road). The kids were happy but Aunt Cole and I were sweating to death so we went to plan B.

Manhattan's only sledding hill - a storm water basin by the old park

It's small but it's perfect for the kids

Line 'em up and let 'em go...

When we got back home the girls made some snow angles

The little angle

Morgan had helped Mommy put up the outside decorations

Kaitlyn just wanted to pose and pretend she helped too

And what do you get after being outside and freezing...hot chocolate!
