Hard to believe but Kaitlyn turned 7 this week!
She had her friends over for a party on Sunday and wanted a sunshine cake.
Here they are eating lunch inside because it was VERY windy outside.
Present opening - she was loving this part of the party.
Matthew, Caleb and Tyson having some cake and ice cream. We finished singing Happy Birthday to Kaitlyn and seconds later Tyson says "So, is it my birthday now?" Yes buddy, way to be patient :-)
Dacey and Devin
Morgan being nice and patient for a piece of chocolate cake.
After the party Kaitlyn and Mommy put together her 'Friends' lego set (Girl Legos). We read the instructions very carefully and go it to work. At one point I was wishing Uncle Jay were here to help :o

Mommy volunteered to put together a Treasure Hunt for Kailtyn's class on Monday.
Spiderman (aka Tyson) helped Mommy build the treasure box, in exchange for a couple tootsie rolls.
The kids had a great time and weather was perfect.
They found the treasure box!
Inside was the movie Treasure Buddies so they got to have an afternoon movie time.

Mr. Devious Devin seeing what he can get his hands on.
Morgan making him giggle (and a mess).
Yeah the time changed so now we can squeeze a brief walk in after dinner.
This was the sweetest thing ever. Devin started to fall asleep and Tyson put his arm around him so his head wouldn't fall down.
Kaitlyn helping Daddy fix the yard light.... supervisory-kind of help :)

Alright, the real birthday was on Wednesday so right after Mommy and Daddy got home from work we got busy and opened presents.
7 Years Old and still missing a few of those teeth she lost this fall.
Rip and tear...can you see who is most excited about the gifts? Especially clothes...
...and bags...
But inside the bag was...50 one-dollar bills.
Thanks Green Grandma, Papa, and Ashton.
Who's this one from R-A-S-S-M-U-S-S-O-N...who's that? Thanks Aunt Rita and Uncle Mike...college savings $$ :o
And the final present was outside....in the truck.
What is it?
The anticipation of letting it loose...
Yes we did, a cat. An indoor cat no less. Her name is yet to be determined but it was Annie and she came from the Animal Shelter. She's not quite 2 years old and she is very sweet. Although I think the amount of noise in our house is a little bit of a change for her.
I think I'll just stay in here.
Big boy
Going up?

Kaitlyn even started softball practice. Pitching 101.
If you can imagine the ball didn't quite make it to the coach but there was alot of improvement as the practice went on.
The observers...
The attention span ran out so we had to go play in the ditch...
And another way to get where you need to go. He'd gone the length of the room like this and I couldn't find the camera so I only caught the tail end.
