Brief spotlight on Morgan...
'cause it's not her birthday and she's been growing up WAY too fast here lately.

Yes, it was 35 degrees out and I was yelling at her to put on a real coat (but could not resist the picture).
Here she was helping Mommy make Kaitlyn's cake last week. She's my awesome little helper in the kitchen.
Speaking of helper, we highly recommend teaching your oldest child how to read ASAP...it pays off at times!

Our 2nd Annual St Patrick's Day picture.
Everyone picked their own green this year.
This was last year's picture.
And this was take #5 from this year (Tyson driving away in the banister car, Devin crying for obvious reasons, Kaitlyn trying to be patient but becoming frustrated with her immature siblings, Morgan trying to get up for the 3rd time but settling with just not looking @ the camera).

We managed to get out of the house on Saturday for a little fresh air. We took the dogs down the trail and it wasn't exactly warm out but Duke wanted to go for a swim anyway.
Daddy stayed back and did some more yard work.
His latest accomplishment was taking out the lilac bushes and some buried stumps.
Tyson is in some kind of Heaven when Daddy brings home equipment. He stayed out there all day Saturday and most of the day Sunday (whatever Daddy wasn't using, he was in the seat).
When he wasn't outside he was inside building roads in a pile of salt.
"It just spilled by itself!"

Devin is getting into troubles of his own...
"What? I needed a tissue or 100."
"This is where Tyson hides his best trucks, under the ladder"
"Ah a chair for me!"
"Pet the cat? No thanks!"
Speaking of the cat, week #1 was a success! She's warmed up to the kids, especially Kaitlyn who sits and pets her and packs her around like a baby.
Unfortunately the cats' favorite spot is on the bed of her least biggest fan, Tyson. He says "Kaitlyn! Get your cat off my bed!" She crawls up there first thing in the morning too and gets right up by his head...he's not quite brave enough to touch her so he just yells.
She even got her first bath this week. Katy was a total sport. She came over after grooming dogs all day and showed us how to bathe a cat (something I didn't think I'd ever do).
She did get an Enchilada dinner, wrestle-time with the kids and had a pretty helpful assistant, not to mention a very cooperative cat.

Monday dumped some real wet spring snow on us...perfect for making gigantic snowballs.
They didn't make this one but it was the biggest one on the playground.
Here is the one Kaitlyn and a couple of her friends made.
She wanted to do a little more work on it so she asked Morgan & Tyson to help.
(Don't you just love Morgan's skirt over the snowpants?)
Tyson (the only one with gloves) was some big help..."I'll just lean on it."
He prefers to eat the snow...:-)
