We've been looking for several months now for a camper (yes, no tent camping for this family..sorry). We finally found one! First the nice pictures from the website...

To say they were excited was an understatement. They wanted to sleep in it that night but we had to say no, it was supposed to be single-digits that night.

So that was the highlight of the week - the reality of the week was the stomach bug that made the rounds. Kaitlyn started it Thursday after Halloween...

Friday morning we woke up to a foot of snow and....no power in the whole town of Manhattan.
Kids eating breakfast around the lantern. It was entertaining for them to realize what power was. Every time they turned on a switch, tried to get water, flushed and nothing worked... There was lots of puzzled looks but we thought it was a good lesson. They only had to wait until a little after 9am and it was back on. The best thing about the whole deal was the snow!!!
Devin all bundled up...I love stuffy coats on little ones!
Lost the gloves first thing... It didn't get much out of the single-digits Saturday so we put them back on :)
So happy to be outside!

Kaitlyn being a nice big sister and pulling him in the sled....then she pulled him all the way over to the 'hill' by the school.
By the time I got over there he wasn't near as smiley - had lost one boot and one glove - and was ready to come home.

And last but not least...a family photo. I had bought these scarecrows for decorations and the kids haul them all over the house, the trampoline, you name it...I'll be suprised if they make Thanksgiving. But this night Morgan and Tyson were the family with 3 kids - and Devin just can't help himself, he's got to be in the picture :o
