Halloween 2012

So we're just going to get this out of the way. Here is our family photo from Halloween this year:
Yes, it's the best one we had because 3/4 of them were looking at me and well Devin just wasn't having it.

It kinda set the pace for the night. He wasn't a huge fan of his costume, or the fact that he had to ride in the wagon. He wanted to walk - at Devin's toddler pace. So, if you can imagine the other 3 were very frustrated because it was holding back their candy collection IMMENSELY! He took pride in slowing everyone further by trying to go inside every house he walked up to and/or play with the decorations they had on the porch. After he hit the 'too tired to function' phase and was buckled into the wagon (so he couldn't climb out) he decided that he would slyly drop things out the side of the wagon: coats, waterbottles, flashlights, candy... Yes, this Halloween night was not Devin's favorite but the others had a great time and the weather was perfectly not cold or windy.

As I mentioned last week, we prepped for this weeks' Halloween parties at school. Here was Kaitlyn's 2nd Grade class.

Sugar...yummy.

Morgan's class did a different kind of party - Pajama Day.

We did curl her hair so she felt a little dolled up. She's cute and she knows it!

Tyson man, I mean Spider Man #2 enjoying his snack and party.

The girls and I actually drove back in so they could go to the boys' parties. Here they all are with Dani - who is Devin's teacher and taught all of them (except Kaitlyn). Devin was Buzz Lightyear (from last year) because it was a warm day and would have been miserable in the Purple Dragon costume.

Ms. Strawberry Shortcake - red hair and all :)

One thing that completely passed us all by this week was Devin turning 18 months old on Monday before Halloween.

Getting ready to leave for school one day and we couldn't find Devin.
Of course, I forgot to look under the table!

Sitting on the piano...because it makes everyone else laugh.

Devin and I cruised the halls of the girls' school during movie night on Friday. He wasn't much for sitting and watching but pulling things off kids' lockers is fun!

How do I get into this one?

Having fun, just being a little stinker!
