What could go wrong?

In celebration of Kaitlyn's birthday she decided to invite everyone in her class over for a pool party. Yes, 16 second graders over for a party...what could go wrong?

The calm before...

 the Storm.

You'll notice the tarp was added to prevent Daddy from having to re-drywall :)

A lot of siblings came so we booted the big kids after an hour so they could have a turn.

It made for a nice Cake Break
The mom that watches the girls after school asked if she could make Kaitlyn's cake. So Kaitlyn requested a cake with a white horse (Leo) and a brown horse (Fiddle). After hearing her plan I asked if she'd rather have a pool party cake - so Kendra did both :)

They were so cute and made out of Rice Crispies. The boys said the horses were drowning and the girls insisted they were swimming...go figure.

The whole crew singing Happy Birthday.

 Then gobbling it up.

Even the littlest attendee was gobbling up the ice cream :)

Then back to the pool. They all got in this time!

It was one full pool for the last hour and thankfully (and surprisingly) nobody got hurt.

One final task of present opening. It was a great party with lots of great kids.

Daddy and the boys were tuckered out after everyone left...

Kaitlyn played so hard she was asleep before 8 o'clock (which is unheard of from Kaitlyn).

And the cat, yes the cat had a rough day too.
I'm glad we could get her fire started so she could relax.
