4-Day Weekend in TFalls

We loaded up the whole gang and headed to TFalls for the 4-day weekend.
We needed a vacation destination and Grandpa and Ginny
offered to put us up (or put up with us) for a couple days!
Daddy stayed to work unfortunately but really...where would he have sat?

I guess we had room for one more.
We picked Ashton up in Missoula so he could hang out with the kiddos.

Devin's first order of business was to help Grandpa unload some hays.

So cute.

Tyson wanted a turn too. Grandpa has tractor skills because there wasn't much room up there to navigate once both boys were aboard.

We all know what Kailtyn wanted to do....squeeze a ride in before it got dark.

So she did. Fiddle wasn't too keen on the idea because it was dinner time and no other horses had to be saddled up and ridden.

We had a craft project to keep us entertained the first night...painting Halloween decorations.

This was right up his alley...and all over Grandpa's floor.

Chip enjoyed his trip to TFalls...he was constantly tortured by the squirrels. He had to have run over 100 miles in the 4 days we were there.

Getting the horses ready for our first full day of riding. Devin pitching in to help with Blue.

Kaitlyn and her Fiddle.

Little more chore time with Grandpa...taking the steers some hay.

Mommy and the 3 big kids on a ride.

Here's what Tyson and Ashton wanted to do all weekend...play some football.

Tractor bucket rides were a hit!

Picking a couple apples from the tree...that's one way to do it I suppose.

We even got out pumpkin decorating in.

He was kind grossed out by the slimy seeds...:)

The finished product.

All aglow at night.

Grandpa got in on the first ride the next day.

With these two in tow

Here's what they wanted to do.

Mommy and Devin with a horseback selfie.

We ended up starting a nice brush fire down in the field.

BBQ Picnic Lunch

Continuing their game with the empty mayonnaise jar.

All cleaned up and headed home.

We went up a few times and checked out next years steaks and hamburger. They looked good :)

Goof Balls!

They had such a great time. They played hard and slept like ROCKS.

Unfortunately we had to head back to Bozeman and leave Ashton in TFalls. He did model his Halloween costume for us before we left. Very scary.

Thanks to Grandpa and Ginny for having us and showing us a good time. I apologize for almost crippling your horse, the paint on your floor, Chip chewing up your memorabilia from your trip to Alabama and all the other things that got destroyed while we were there.
But you love when we visit, right? :)
