Labor Day 2015

What's better than going to Grandpa's Fair every year?

Getting to see Ashton - whom we didn't see ALL SUMMER LONG!
It was quite the reunion, if you can't tell by the smiles.

It was a rainy Labor Day Weekend but perfect fair ride weather! And yes, we were without Tyson because he and Daddy went hunting in Eastern MT...but we'll get to them later.

I made them see the animals first...because you can imagine how entertaining that is when there are rides waiting to be rode! This was a big Dude thought...very impressive.

Ride #1 Devin got to pick. Kaitlyn was too tall :-(

You'll have to zoom but they're 3 in a row.

These two went non-stop for the entire day.
The rain kept the lines down to almost nothing so we got our $'s worth!

Thankfully Morgan is like her Mommy and her tummy can't quite handle the big rides.

She's honestly the best big sister and so patient with Devin when he's being a boss-hoss.

Ponies

Devin giggled for this entire ride. It was pretty lame and went up and down but he loved it!

This one was a little crammed for Morgan (and Devin for that matter) but they made it work.

Here's Morgan and Devin Racing down the slide.
You can't see it but Devin's bag made it and he's at the top of the stairs.

Morgan ran another bag up, got him situated on her lap and down they came. She wins the award of Favorite Child for the Day!

Ashton on the bull - then my camera died.

One more quick trip on the gliders before the rodeo.

Rodeo Time

Devin hanging with his favorite Aunt Kerri :-)

The front row crew, enjoying the clown acts for sure.

Group photo with Grandpa (and the $40 bunny we had to win - and lost moments after this picture was taken).

Mom of the year - shutting down the kiddie rides. Devin was lovin' life!

He even got onto rides that earlier we had been told he wasn't tall enough for.

And he begged Mommy to go on the Sizzler. I said no 100 times and this guy said "I'll go with him". Uh OK. Devin had a great time and this guy was seriously in heaven because he knew he made Devin's day (well, night).

Meanwhile...in Eastern Montana...

Uncle Jay and Daddy stalking the antelope that is also in the picture below. The video is awesome but too big for my blog. Their friend Kent had the boys in the truck watching the action.

Same antelope - with a couple happy guys in it. Tyson was so excited about this - and rightfully so.

Here they all are - Dax, Tyson and Theron.
Apparently the boys got to help dress it and skin in later (sadly there are no pictures of this - not really).

When we met up again in Manhattan Daddy unloaded his stuff. Devin came all the way inside to bring me out. He said the antelope is sleeping and he lost his legs. He continued to tell me that his belly is gone too. I asked if he was dead and he said yeah, I think so. :-)
