Oh yeah...we have begun again! Things got off to a messy start the first week of October when we assembled our Club's 4-H Week booth at the Community Library.
The kids had a great time cutting, pasting and gluing their ideas.

Good start to the new year!
A get-to-know-you activity at our first meeting. Yes, our club has gotten much bigger this year. From 20 to 35 and growing. Good but a bit overwhelming too - considering they are ages 6 to 19.
We had a 4-H information night for the public too...so there may be more.
Our club also created this monstrosity for the Awards Night Silent Auction - a very heavy basket of Candy-related items (including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and John Candy movies). We didn't win this contest but it earned $75 for our County.
Awards Night is held in October for the previous years' effort.
Kaitlyn and Morgan were asked to do lead the Pledge of Allegiance and the 4-H Pledge before dinner. They didn't bat an eye and did great!
I was proud of them because this was the crowd
Kaitlyn earned a Rabbit Project Award,
and a Sewing Project Award.
Daddy earned a certificate for being a first year leader (shooting sports).
Mommy got one too for New Club Leader - but nobody took a picture.
But Ms. Kaitlyn had the top honor of the night - Outstanding Jr. 4-Her for the year! It came with a $300 scholarship too.
Yeah - somebody was pretty happy that night. And yes, I made her thank me for making her do all that 4-H stuff last year...and will reminder her as-needed this coming year when the whining begins :) Proud of you!
