Our 4-H Club had a field trip to a Dairy Farm in April
We were learning what they cows eat and how the farm operates.
Then it was baby feeding time!
Everyone got in on the action
They fed almost 60 babies in a matter of 10 minutes.
Just the members' photo! Our first ever.
Waiting to go see the milking operation.
The next Friday happened to be 4-H Service Week. Our club contacted the town of Manhattan and learned that we could help by cleaning out the irrigation ditch that runs through town.
Here were are, kicking it off.
Working hard
The final pile and all the helpers!
It was a lot of work crammed into two hours but the ditch looked really nice afterward.
