If you remember...here's where we started on May 6th...freshly cast.
We had a follow-up appointment at one week and everything looked good. We went in on June 3rd (@ 1 month) to get the cast off. YEAH!
His scratchy little arm wanted some air. However...
It wasn't quite healed so we got the news of 3 more weeks - hard time :(
He was so big about it and thrilled with the new red color.
And we're off - 3 weeks and we'll be done.
The next Monday - due to swelling...from falling on it a couple times (one out of the camper, one on the bike). They wanted to re-xray and re-cast. His friend Codi was in there getting "practiced on" by a new caster (which we weren't requesting). We were shamed for being bad parents and moved on with our day.
Back to blue...still got to make it 3 more weeks.
We made it 10 days and the Dr called randomly one day and wanted to check in on him (because he was going on vacation for a week and a half). All of a sudden we were healed...WTH? They asked that we keep him off his bike for 2 weeks and try to avoid re-damaging it. Yeah...that sounds easy.
The next day. We teased him that he's going to see Mr. Miaygi for his lesson. The good news is he's managed to not re-injure it (yet) and we go back at the end of July for a 6-week follow up. I guess we'll see then if it'll take 3 or 4 casts to heal Devin :)
