Memorial Camping Trip

We picked a new spot this year for our Annual Camping Trip. Where else can you comfortable fit 7 campers, 14 adults, 18 kids (and their bikes) 9 dogs, and 3 motorcycles.
It was a little soaky and soggy for starters but we managed.

The view from the top of the hill.

The view from the VERY top of the hill. It was a beautiful kind of green all around.

The boys wanted nothing to do but work - they worked all weekend.

It started as a small whole...then grew into a fort with stairs and a cage. They were truly bummed that we wouldn't let them sleep in there so we promised them next year we'd bring an actual tent and they could set it up right beside the hole.

The secondary hole was used for a small kids fire. They lit and maintained it.

The mom's took the kids on a hike to an abandoned structure of some sort. It must have been a hay shed because there was no access in.

Morgan and her Sophia

 The boys...ready to ride.

Morgan and Addy looking cute thanks to Auntie E.

Riley too.

Auntie E and Mommy...wow, somebody else took a picture around here.

 Morgan, looking all grown up
Kaitlyn and Mommy...huddling for warmth in the cool morning air.

Some of the dad's planning the next meal no doubt.

Our Mom in Training. She so looks forward to seeing Kamber every year. This was year #3.

Eating wherever we fit.

The girls and Sophia. This little girl was so good and she had such an attentive group to watch her.

She was either in a stroller, on a bike or being carried ALL WEEKEND.

The right and left hand

We got in quite a bit of motorcycle riding. Here's Tyson tearing it up.

Slip and Slide Time! (It wasn't very warm, ask Devin)

They were all game to give it a try.

Kaitlyn went the most # of times.

Then the guys.

And the ever-growing herd of kiddos. 18 in all.

Signs of a successful camping trip...

 ...exhaustion.

Not so successful was Mr. Chip - who managed to find more than  his fair share of cockle bur.
