The 1st of the Santa Visits

Well doesn't this look like a deserving bunch...so sweet (and sticky from their candy canes). Kaitlyn asked for a Snowsuit, Morgan wouldn't talk, and Tyson asked for a Gun. When Tyson got off Santa's lap he quickly asked me why Santa didn't give him his gun :) Well you see son, you haven't been that good this year...just kidding...I told him that he'd have to wait until Christmas. He was a bit disappointed but went along with it.

Devin was the cutest. He gets extra photos on the blog because I'm sure next year we won't be able to pry him up there.

Whatever you wish for buddy, you got it, you've been VERY good this year.

Then we took a ride on Santa's hay ride. These were the huge well behaved horses.

Mommy even got in on the ride.

Look who got extra special seating..

Jayden, Dacey and Trinity

So exciting!

We got an early Christmas present this year - Aunt Logan arrived! She also brought IPods and got all the kids jamming out the first night she was here.

We even got ambitious and decorated the tree.

Had a volunteer for manning the electrical side of things...he wasn't much interested in the work of decorating...took a little too much finesse.

Devin did a little rocking on the carpet while we decorated. We've determined that he will probably crawl before he speaks...or gets teeth :)

Kaitlyn carefully placing her Princess bulbs.

The final product. It looks kinda sad and crooked in the picture but it really is quite nice.

Day 2 Logan got to work painting the dining room. Of course, she had helpers.

We got all cleaned up for Kaitlyn's Christmas concert on Monday. Love this one!

And Devin's first recorder concert - "What is that noise?" Don't worry buddy in a couple short years we'll have one in our house!

Kaitlyn's portion of the concert was 1st grad thru 3rd - they sang several songs and the 3rd grade put on short little skits in between songs. It was very cute.

Devin enjoyed it.

Afterward the pre-school kids got to visit Santa, again.
Morgan is definitely the biggest skeptic this year. Tyson reminded Santa again that he's looking for a gun for Christmas :) He was probably a little more convincing in his cowboy gear..I'm sure he'll pony up soon on the gun buddy.

Tyson got to see his buddy Jack at the concert too. These two are pretty funny and were SO excited to see eachother.

Mom, can you get this creepy elf away from me?
