4th of July Vacation - Part 1

What better way to start our 4th of July vacation than riding a wave runner on the river?

The kids were a little nervous (as was Mommy) but Uncle Bob was a pro and was happy to be able to take the kids out.

Daddy took Morgan out for a spin, which ended in a little bit of a swim :)

Then Ashton went on a nice long ride with Bob...love the hair!

 Kaitlyn's up!

And this is as far as Tyson wanted to go...good enough for starters. We gave Uncle Bob a pretty hard time about his 90's-style Bombardier but it was just perfect for our crew.

Kaitlyn and Ashton were more interested in the mud however.

This was Bethany's ride. Pretty nice day!

When we got back to Nana's, Devin found his ride, the lawn mower. All smiles here.

Ashton playing Frisbee with Tanner and Aunt Stacey.

Devin did quite a few laps on the ramp while waiting for Daddy to BBQ dinner. It was perfect for our little cautious almost-walker.

After we ate Bethany took the kids on a ride in the Gator. Here they are, as excited as can be.

...then returned with whiplash and sick tummies. Just kidding, they had a blast and wanted to ride again and again...

All ready to head out and do some Fireworks!

Of course, the place to be for fire works is Grandpa's house. Uncle Jay and Daddy set everyone up with sparklers and then followed up with their yearly bang-up show.

 Tyson - loving the fire!

Easton was not to sure about this whole idea so he stayed close to Green Grandma.

Here is how he watched the entire show, under the blanket. He wasn't alseep, he'd clap when they were done and made all sorts of noises but no way was he coming out from under the blanket. He had us laughing pretty hard.

TFalls managed to throw together a little parade.

It was small but the kids had a good time and got a bag full of candy - good thing for Politicians (for the candy).

Theron's cousin Emma was riding

And Uncle Lance and Aunt Shannon got the dirty deed...cleanup.

We managed to make it down to the dam in TFalls. I tried to get all the kids to pose on the platform but it was real loud so they couldn't hear, Tyson wouldn't got out there, and well...this is what we ended up with.

The river was flowing high because they (unlike us) have had an abundance of precipitation this year.
