Digger Days

Digger Days is also known as heaven for a little boy that loves everything that is drive-able. This is the 2nd year they've had this event and Tyson was more than excited to test out all the equipment. Theron's company is one of the major sponsors so they get a free preview the night before.

It was Tyson's special night so he wanted to have hamburgers and ice cream for dinner - thank goodness for DQ.

Getting dirty on the big tires.

The girls loved it too...playing in the huge sand piles.

Devin was into this whole concept as well...getting dirty, steering machines, kinda right up his alley these days.

Can you hear the noises he's making?

"Mom, I don't quite reach the pedals."

I must admit that the truck he enjoyed the most was the garbage truck. It was by far the most disgusting in the cab, from the torn seat to the sticky floor mats but I had to do some negotiating to get him out of there.

"Let me in, it's my turn."

You could tell he felt like a big boy.

One yard bucket with a one-year-old Devin :)

Morgan even took in a few. This one was shiny and new, even had the plastic on the seat so she gravitated to it and was happy.

Kaitlyn helping Daddy dig.

Devin cried and cried while the other got to work on the excavator with Daddy. I thought maybe he was scared of the noise. But the crying quickly stopped when it was his turn. He was one happy little dude!

Daddy spent the entire next day helping all the other little kids dig in the excavators and backhoes. He said they had over 2000 people so that is alot of happy kiddos.
