Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to Aunt Bethany this weekend. She stayed with us the whole month of July and the kids LOVED it. She said she had to go back to Georgia to finish Veterinary School; so although we were bummed, it was probably the right decision. Aunt Cole came for a few days prior and drove back with Bethany too. Although brief, we had a great visit with her too.
Mommy and Daddy did a little early Christmas shopping this year. Pedal cars! However, once we picked them up we had to give them to the kids because they were pretty sweet.
The kids love them (and fight over them)
Devin is a pretty happy camper in the red one - he can reach the pedals and makes driving noises :)

Saturday Daddy played in a softball tournament and during one of his breaks the kids, 2nd Grandma and I went to the Sweet Pea Parade.
It was a great big parade with too many a lot of people. We left before it was over because we wanted to avoid all the idiotic people traffic.

Sunday Daddy decided to cut up firewood - all day! Mommy helped for the afternoon then we all met at the river to cool off and splash around.
I know, she's awfully close to the stump but she was jumping off a rock in the water right next to it. She did great and was swimming all over the place without her life jacket on.
Morgan would rather lounge in the slower water where the 2nd and 3rd grade boys happen to be snorkeling. We're onto her!
Her and Tyson playing nicely and catching some 'rock fish'.

Devin in the sandbox, throwing sand and toys...every kids favorite.
Tyson painting a special car rock for Daddy's birthday.
Morgan and Kaitlyn giving their Barbies a bath in the sink....again.
