8th Anniversary

We celebrate our 8th Anniversary tomorrow (Tuesday Oct 2nd).

This was the picture that Morgan drew of us.
Look at the smiles on our faces...it's been a great first 8 years!

Here's a group shot before dinner one night.
The kids had the idea that everyone should wear a bib...

Friday was the PTO's fund raiser for the year - The Fun Run. The girls made a few phone calls and collected pledges for the laps they would run in 30 mins time. After learning my lesson last year with Kaitlyn I figured Morgan could run 3-4 laps so we pledged $10/lap ($12 after Tyson & Devin kicked in their $1/lap)

2nd Grandma attended and cheered with the boys!
Here's Morgan's class starting out...they'll slow down right?

She just kept going and going....9 laps! YIKES!!!
(maybe I didn't learn my lesson)

Here is a class photos after the race (Morgan is standing and 2nd in from the blue flag)

Now the 2nd Graders turn...

Stopping at the hydration station....again.

Kaitlyn pulled off 8 laps this year - one more than last year.
However, she knows she was beat by a Kindergartener :0

Here she is resting with her classmates after the race.

More orange shirts on Saturday for the weekly soccer game.

The starting defenders were Kaitlyn and Morgan :o

Kaitlyn with her 2nd of 3 goals this week.

Morgan scored her 1st goal in this game too! It was really funny because she's a little stand-offish when it comes to getting right in the mix. She was standing outside the mob, the ball popped out and she was right in front of the goal all by herself. I didn't get a picture but her face was priceless.

Devin found entertainment in picking up the cones on the corners of the field.

Tyson and some other siblings found entertainment in a Cat with a Hat. This cat was very big and very affectionate - plus it look ridiculous with the cone on it's head. We all got a pretty good laugh watching them all play.

Daddy and Devin - so cute!

I loved this picture of Tyson. He got to stay home on Friday with Grandma and Devin to play. Legos are his new thing and Grandma has set him up nicely with some pretty fun stuff.

OK - I like this picture too. He's helping Daddy get ready to do some work.

Morgan and her monkey bars

Kaitlyn got ahold of the dogs (and the camera) while I was mowing one day.

Good dogs...seriously, good dogs let little girls dress them up with 'Ear Mocks' and sunglasses.
