The girls' had their Easter Break Thursday-Monday. Ashton also had time off so I met Green Grandma and Papa in Missoula on Wednesday night so he could hang with us for a few days. Unfortunately we hit a deer on the way home. Fortunately we were in Mr. Burban and nobody got hurt. Daddy had to come rescue us at 9PM and the damage is currently being accessed.
Thursday was a bright sunny day and here was the crew.
With no wheels to get around...we found our own entertainment around town.

Friday the kiddos hung out with Daddy. They played around the house and helped him do some chores.

Saturday we attended the Manhattan Easter Egg Hunt.

Um yes, and even thought the kids had fun, we decided that this would be the final year...it was completely crazy and all you end up leaving with is hurt feelings. The people that put it on put a ton of work into it but it draws people from Three Fork and Belgrade. I think kids average 2-3 eggs because there is just so many people. Kaitlyn's age group a kid got trampled...seriously, over a few eggs w/ candy.
When we got home Daddy lit the bonfire. The kids supervised to be sure it didn't get out of control.
Green Grandma came to visit too!
That night the big kids (Kaitlyn, Ashton, and Morgan) put on a puppet show. Kaitlyn choreographed the whole thing and it was about Kings, Queens and Princesses.
Morgan, here she was the princess of England. They each had one of their own socks as a puppet w/ no eyes or anything, just a sock. It was pretty cute.

The next day the Easter Bunny had come to our house.
It was a chilly morning but they were all lined up at the starting line to gather themselves some eggs.
Devin did great. He even found a few colorful balls with Green Grandma to fill up his basket.

Easter Sunday happened to also be Tyson's 4th Birthday. He had himself a pretty fine day - Easter Candy for breakfast...
Hot Chocolate cupcake mix from 2nd Grandma.
He also got a "The King Semi"
and a "Chick Hicks Semi" so he could play Cars, his 2nd most favorite thing right now, next to Spiderman.
Daddy had brought home some equipment so he could do some work on the ditch, driveway and build a pad for the Pole Barn Relocation Project :) So getting to ride and play on this may have rounded out the birthday wishes for Tyson.
Devin had himself a fine time in the loader too.

Monday the big kids and Mommy took care of some business: Doctor and Vet appointments but also hung out in Bozeman all day. We went to Murdoch's to see the baby chicks, ducks and turkeys; visited the library to check out some books and play; had a picnic at the Dinosaur park; and went to the store so they could pick out some summer stuff with their gift cards. It was a great ending to a nice Easter Break.
When we got home there were some giant piles of dirt from the ongoing projects around the house.
And...seeing as how we got a little short-changed in the snow dept this year, the kids decided to break out the sleds for the dirt pile.
It was a short ride, but well worth it, so they say :)
I think I can, I think I can.... Poor little boy, he just wants to keep up with the big kids.
