Officially Six...finally!

She's officially six now. She's been planning her party since Christmas and revising it as each of the other kids had their parties. Finally...today was her day.

We discussed hamburgers and hot dogs but she said no, tacos.
Mom: "But not everyone likes tacos."
Morgan: "I don't care, it's my party."
Well OK, taco's it is then :) and they were a great success.

It was the most beautiful weather day.
About 70 degrees and no wind! The kids had a blast on the trampoline.

Kendra made an awesome flip-flop cake for the party!
They looked too good to eat.

Mr. Grump said there were too many girls at this party.
Someday you'll be OK with that Buddy...I promise :)

Present time...

I almost did a "please-no-presents party" but you can imagine how that went over with Morgan. It was great she got a jewelry box and some fun stuff...not too many toys. Parents of kids this age must be empathetic with their present picking.

Afterward a couple friends stayed to play: Trin and Hadley.

Here's what they boys did...

Devin wasn't down for long. He knew there were leftover Gatorade's all over the yard.

Jaden and Trin stayed the night so they put Morgan's new coloring supplies to good use.

Even Woody (who kinda likes to color now) joined in. He refused to color a Barbie and found himself an airplane instead.

The perk of having your actual birthday on a weekend is you get to open presents in the morning.

She's been BEGGING for Bogs so as she opened these she said "Finally!"

Tyson, trying out the new hiking/ski/roller-blading balance poles.

Devin and his favorite trucks looking awfully cute on the trampoline.

Sunday night, after a weekend full of birthday (and cake),
Morgan got a Mommy & Tyson-made pudding dish.
Happy Birthday Sweetie!!
We hope it was everything you planned for :)
