Sad to report that Softball is done for the year.
Morgan at her last at-bat.
Even though they lost it was a great night to play ball.
After her last game her, Daddy and Devin went to put some finishing touches on the drain pipe for the new shop.
Kaitlyn had a rainy late game one evening in Bozeman so we went out to dinner afterward at Famous Daves. Devin grabbed a paper and started coloring...he was quite proud of his Dolphin (which actually kinda looked like a dolphin).

Saturday morning bright and early Devin's dream came true and two concrete trucks pulled into the yard.
Daddy's dream came true when the concrete crew he arranged for also showed up to help :)
"You guys need any help?"
Yeah, it was all we could do to keep his hands out of it (and Chip from running across it)

Kaitlyn got to be a captain at their last home game...she was quite proud.
Saturday (after the concrete pour) was the tournament.
2nd base and ready to go...if someone would just hit it :)
After their final game they all met up at Dairy Queen to celebrate the season.
Good job girls!

Now that softball is over it's onto catching up on 4-H. We had a record book meeting to prepare for and the tears were flowing. All she wanted to do was really anything besides sitting and writing but Mommy is mean and made her anyway. Things have come full-circle (again) because I remember trying everything I could to not have to do these things...it was sooooo painful.
The sheriff was around to supervise too.
"What's the big deal Kaitlyn? Just get it done."
Hanging out with his pupper dog.
Sadly Tyson didn't get to do TBall this year as we were already headed in 2 different directions with the girls. His buddy Michael (4th grader) from down the street is awesome to him and has been coming down and playing around with him. He is so good to him and I'm certain that we can skip TBall and go right into majors anyway...which does not hurt my feelings at all :)
The first warm day in the ditch!!! Now we know summer has begun.
The cutest dogpile EVER!
