ROAD TRIP! to Thompson Falls for a 3-day weekend
Kaitlyn got her fix the second we showed up - riding Sunny.
Morgan got a turn on Magic too.
And these two? no horses, just football.

Then on Saturday, the real reason we came to TFalls. The Toastmaster's Club held an event in honor of my mom (Green Grandma). It was called Carol's Barrel of Laughs complete with humorous speeches, food and a silent auction. Mom's mentor, Carolyn got a copy of the speech mom was about to give for last year's contest. It was fun to hear it, as I had hear portions of it over the phone. It was awesome to hear how she affected so many people in this club - this was definitely her thing!
There were over 100 people there and they raised over $500 for the college savings fund!
Her friend Charlie Denson sang a few songs in between the humorous speeches.

Aunt Shelia and Jerry (from Kalispell), Gale, Uncle Buddy and Maxine (from Alberta). My Aunt Sarah even came from Nova Scotia. We had a great time!

And Devin bonded with the bartender so he helped put in new trashbags :)
The next morning we had some breakfast at Minnies and headed back on our separate ways.
