Christmas Programs

Devin's Christmas Program was first.
A Sunday and well we didn't make it in time for him to sing (long story).
But we did make it in time for Santa!

We found this good looking reindeer there too!

Devin's daycare got him this super cute puzzle of himself. He loves it!

Then we snuck to the Christmas Stroll in Manhattan
(less Kaitlyn because she had BBall practice).

Kaitlyn's concert was on Tuesday night. Now that she's a big 5th Grader they get to go with the Jr. High. First songs.

She insisted on wearing pants because Part 2 of the concert was band. And, as a saxophone player, you can't wear a dress.

Here's our fuzzy pictures of her first band concert.

The little 5th grade band.

They played great with the 6 notes they know.

I can't wait to hear how much they'll improve between now and the end of the year.

K thru 4 was on Wednesday Night.
The 1st thru 3rd collaborated as one big group for a play with songs in between scenes.

Here's Tyson, who was surprisingly into it.

And Morgan, who had a beautiful Christmas dress picked out back in October. Then, she came home with a note in November that said "please send her in a green top and brown bottoms because she's a cedar tree in the Christmas play".

Oh well. Maybe next year she can get gussied up again :) She made a cute tree nonetheless.

Kaitlyn and her friend playing paparazzi.

Grandma has missed Kaitlyn's concert night so it was recreated in our living room. And yes, it was mid December and we still didn't have a single Christmas decoration up. Mom Fail.

It was overshadowed by having Grandma here though!

Oh boy have they missed her and love to sit on her lap...

...but have gotten a little bigger :-)
