4-H, Soccer and a Break!

Kaitlyn had her first 4-H Meeting on Wednesday Night. She's a Manhattan Clever Clover! It was fun...she knows a lot of the kids and loved it. She is taking a cooking, sewing, and a cat project.

Another frigid game on Saturday...

Morgan was a rock star though. She scored 5 of the 6 goals for her team!

Devin was in charge of snack cleanup duties...he ate everything he could get his hands on.

Daddy had his own project started for the weekend.
He wrangled up a little help and managed to get the steel off the roof of the shop and put plywood sheeting back down (new steel is on order).

and here is his helper...Devin. He climbed up the ladder on the left, and yelled for Daddy.

Maybe I'll keep a better eye on him next time.

The girls had Thursday & Friday off from school. So, Kaitlyn spent the night at a friends house and Morgan got to have a friend over. They were getting on each others nerves...and mine.

Tyson, well he keeps begging me for a playdate but was satisfied with raking a nice big pile of leaves to play in!

Mr. Nap caught the tail end of it. He wouldn't put his blanket down and didn't really think jumping in the leaves wasn't all that fun.

American Girl Twinsies

They've had a renewed interest in the American Girl dolls since their Christmas Catalogs showed up in the mail. Morgan was very excited so I told her to circle what she really wanted, not everything in the book. Well in less than 10 minutes she'd racked up $4,130 in "wants." Santa better get busy playing the lottery :)

Some rowdy boys showed up and made a fort out of Daddy's rock pile. I told them it looked more like a nest...Tyson was liking it.

Meanwhile Devin got to go for a dump truck ride with Daddy.

I love his little face just barely peeking over the door.

Tyson helped Daddy back the lift onto the trailer. He was a little upset that there wasn't room for two boys in that big dump truck. Maybe next time Buddy, Devin was WAY too excited to have to miss it.
