Oh yes...we went all Minion for Tyson's 5th Birthday
Even this guy hung out in the garage for awhile.
I had asked Tyson if he wanted to help decorate the cake. He said "if licking the spoon is helping, then yes!" Well...at least he's honest :)
This was his design for the round cake...
And the finished product
Hamburgers & hot dogs were a huge hit...boys in the garage...
girls and siblings in the house :)
Present time!
Tyson should have gone last on the pinata...two swings and he was flat on his back. Thankfully Daddy fixed it and gave it a little more life.
After all....this was the lineup waiting to take a swing.
Morgan's try
The big soft-baller gave him the final hit.
Singing & cake
Quite a crew and lots of sugar was handed out....right before parents came back :)
He had such a great day with all of his buddies (and girls) from his preschool class.

The next day he had a friend over that couldn't make the party...just as well as we shifted from Minion to Spiderman :)
This was Grandpa Spiderman :)

Monday was his actual birthday and we got a late start on dinner due to softball practices.
The girls face-timing with 2nd Grandma. Tyson had lost interest and Morgan will do anything to get to use the I phone.
Tyson did however bring the remainder of the minion cake over so Grandma could see it...and it ended up face down on the floor. Between Devin and Chip them managed to get some it back on the board and clean/eat most of it off the carpet.

After his requested dinner of Steak (aka Meat) and Potatoes we got into the presents.
He loved his football gear and wore it for a couple days thereafter, even to a softball game.
Walki talkie's...good ones to play secret spies with.
After Mommy had put the kids to bed upstairs...we came down to find Devin sneaking the frosting off the remaining cupcakes. "It's yummy" he said.
