Memorial Day Camping

Camping prep by Morgan...a neatly organized pile complete with Hello Kitty tank top, stuffie and notebook. I gave the rest of the kids their list and it was thrown in a pile.

Uncle Jay and Auntie E came a day early and stayed with us...the kids made good use of the new concrete being sprinkled.

2014 will be remembered as the warmest Memorial Camping weekend ever...80+ degrees on Saturday. We went to the Lewis & Clark Campground again this year and opted for the entire loop - 7 sites and no neighbors.

So, instead of snow boots...we brought flip flops and a couple kiddie pools to splash in. Believe me we had the boots just in case 'cause it seemed too good to be true.

But it wasn't...and the kids didn't mind...

Mud pies anyone?

How about a mud bath?
Morgan and Kamber....all weekend buddies. Seriously the best baby a 7 year old girl could ask for to play with.

Kamber is the yougest of 3 (and they're all 4 and under) so her mom was willing to take Morgan home with her :)

Kaitlyn got a few turns of her own, but not many.

Tyson didn't exactly have the touch but he wanted in on a turn or two also.

Another lap around the loop...being a mom is a lot of work :)

Hovering to be sure Addy holds her correctly

On the way up the hill to the playground.

Mommy even got her baby fix...two at a time...no way!

Just one...much better.

And having a loop...bikes are a hit!

The boys and the puddle...it's like a really weird magnet

Little big but he could reach the pedals and make it happen. Thankfully we never tipped over.

Aunt Bethany and Zach even made their appearance one evening.

Daddy got his turn holding a baby, Ms. Sophia who is 5 months old and so sweet.

What? I thought I was the baby?

good movie...camping?
Yes, uncle Jay had a nice plug in to a cabin and scored some free power.
They got to be the hub.

Auntie E even made Mommy a Birthday Cake. When the cake came out to the table it said _appy Birthday. Apparently Easton got a little hungry :)

Devin and Grace finishing off the leftovers

Sunday proved to be a good day for fishing so Uncle Jay, Daddy and Kent took some of the kiddos to a local fishing pond.

Look out fish!

Cousins...hitting them hard.

One final picture of our baby and her new favorite baby :)
