He was 5, now he's 6

Tyson has been waiting for this day to come since Christmas was over - his 6th birthday! I think it's more because most of the kids in his class have turned 6, and well he'd like to stay with the pack.

He wanted a football-themed party so we whipped up some invitations....made a cake and had a little party. He even went around to every door in the house and put a "6" on it, if it was OK for his friends to go in that room; and a "no" on it, if it wasn't OK. How thoughtful :-)

Devin (in typically Devin style) helped himself to the frosting before the party...

We made a football field table for drinks...

 - he marked the End Zones (aka Touchdowns).

We played one game, because the wind outside was unbearable...

They tried to make a field goal while blindfolded. It was good for some laughs.

Then, one of the chickens decided to sneak in under the opened garage door. I'm certain she regretted it because all of them wanted to take a turn to hold her.

Here they were - the kindergarten crew: Lainey, Maggie, and the triplets Donovan, Brock & Ethan.

Cake time - how embarrassing
