We lost one chicken so we got another from the neighbors to re-stock our herd.
It was supposed to be a hen but we quickly learned that it is not - so Mr. Rooster wakes us all up very early, even on Sundays. Not sure how much longer Mr. Rooster will be around with behavior like that :-)
Daddy's birthday was in August. His surprise was a new beer fridge for his shop and a recliner to relax/nap in. The actual weekend of his birthday we went to Lewistown.
Speaking of our trip to Lewistown. We told the kids we were going somewhere on Friday after work and we'd be back Sunday night. It was killing them to not know so we told them to make a list of all the possible places we could be going and we'd give clues to narrow it down. There was some wishful thinking on this list as you can see. And the correct answer was 12 down :-)
