We made a weekend trip to Lewistown for Addy's Birthday.
Happened to be a 3-D Archery Tournament in town. Here's daddy taking his shot at a bear.

Devin...taking aim
All in good fun :-)
Uncle Jay ended up 2nd place in the Men's Division
Kaitlyn placed 6th overall in the Kid's Division. All the other kids in our troop just shot for fun.
All smiles...
...and a fun day.

But it was about to become more fun because it was Addy's swimming party!
All geared up and headed for the pool...then they closed the pool due to the weather.
Plan B was to play in the ice hockey rink nearby.
Cake...
Presents...
and Yard Games...
A good old game of egg race.
The spectators
Then the egg toss...partnered with parents/grandparents.
Mr. Competitive...giving instruction.
One in mid-flight.
Ginny's broke!
Hands down these were the hardest eggs known to man. They would bounce off of the turf and not break.
Round 2
See...told you he was competitive. He dove to save the egg on a short throw. :)
Kaitlyn on break with a Baby Louie
Sack race - with garbage bags.
He said these were his farmer pants.

The next day we headed to the L-town Golf Course where they had a kids' fishing pond.
Super cutie
Off we go, dodging drives.
About all we caught in the first hour was some moss and worms...we thought we were going to be skunked.
Then Easton reeled in this guy.
The same lucky pole got Tyson his first fish ever. He was quite proud.
Morgan and Grandpa found some luck on the other side of the lake.
Then Tyson got his 2nd fish...and wrapped it around a log.
So Daddy got to retrieve it.
Devin even caught one but Easton had to reel it in for him. He would not touch it, look at it, be seen with it whatsoever. All in all we ended up with this nice stringer of fish.
Grandpa and Daddy giving cleaning lessons.
This guy...not really into the whole fishing scene. I asked him why he looked so sad and he said "I can't find a rock to throw in the water." It was true...no rocks to be found so we let him throw in a couple pine cones but I don't think it was the same :-)
Final picture...restraining Devin.

Sunday afternoon we returned to the pool and they were open!
So we carried on with Addy's birthday celebration.
The girls wore out the water slides and diving boards.
