Girls Week in TFalls

For their last week of summer, the girls were invited to TFalls to go riding with Grandpa and Ginny.

First a stop at Nana & Pop Pops for some brunch and hang out for the day.

Cute.

Saturday night there was a gathering/celebration for a family friend that had passed away of cancer. It was at the Rimrock and there was a DJ so the kids and Aunt Kerri had a good time.

Even Grandpa got out on the floor with them.

The next day Aunt Kerri headed for Oregon.

Mommy was headed back to Bozeman, by herself. Let's see...it's been about 10 years since I've driven that far, without anyone in the car.

The girls were excited to stay and go on their first ride to Rock Creek.

Ginny had taken a tumble off a horse the day before so she was at home, recovering. Grandpa invited his friend Dennis and some of his company to come with.

The girls were thrilled that at the bottom of the waterfalls was a nice warm pool to swim in.

The perks of riding in August vs June :-)

The falls is pretty slow this time of year.

Do we have to go?

The 2nd Day Ginny felt well enough to go for a ride to Blossom Lake.

Getting geared up to fish.

Success!

Kaitlyn and her new buddy Sunny.

Love this picture! Day 3 and headed to Spruce Creek for a ride.

Blue took full advantage of this photo moment.:)

No swimming here...little too cold.

Kaitlyn, wearing Ginny's chaps :)

They tried on the way back down but the water was a little chilly...

Good way to cool off though.

Their last ride was to Arrowhead Lake.

It had been smoky all week but this was the worst day. The fishing was still good.

The final stringer.

All done and heading home. When they got back there was a sign posted, closing the trail. Apparently the fire that was nearby was growing rapidly.

Thanks Grandpa for the fun week!
