So I apologize for the delayed posting. I was waiting on Auntie E (whom was the official camp photographer) to post her pics on Facebook, so I could nab a few. I did take some but I'll have to fill in the gaps later.
The camping crew (minus the kids and Theron, the I phone holder)...enjoying the fire.
The kids were busy playing duck-duck-goose on the road :)
Grandpa and Ginny reserved us the perfect spot for camping with a large crew up Dry Creek Road in Thompson Falls. It's where we were last year for the 4th - the swimming hole and end-of-the-road location are perfect for the kiddos.
Aunt Kerri and Tyson with his aquatic Strider :)
Ginny and her son Michael from Florida.
Daddy having himself a cool drink while standing in the creek.
We couldn't have fireworks so we nabbed a big pack of sparklers for the kids to enjoy.
Addy floating the lazy river.
Tyson enjoying himself in the creek.
Then Aunt Kerri and Mike showed up with a 4-wheeler...Tyson was out of the water and on this thing, even when it wasn't moving.
Bless Mike and Kerri for making no less than 200 trips around the same circle with each of the kids. Kaitlyn was able to drive it by herself by the end of the weekend.
These two could (and really wanted to) drive alone but nobody trusted their ability to stop...maybe next year :)
Devin having a snack in his Dino-chair.
Theron and I took the kids on an adventure so we could find a new swimming hole.
Here it was!
It looked the same, as it was 1/2 mile upstream but fun nonetheless.
Whatch doing Mommy?
The camp chefs. They grilled up some pretty yummy stuff!
It's a good thing calories don't count on holiday weekends :)
Devin and Easton helping cleanup. They busted into Uncle Mike & Aunt Rita's tent and were rummaging through their stuff. They both found dishwashing gloves...too cute!
Mike and Uncle Jay got in on a motorcycle ride.
Devin and Easton with their favorite Uncle and Daddy :)
Tyson and Addy
We snuck away from camp one day to do some horse riding, something Kaitlyn could not have lived without. Fiddle (her horse) has been nursing an injury suffered in April so this was his first ride since and they both did awesome! Morgan, Addy and Ashton all took turns riding too.
After riding we booggied to Nana and Big PopPops house for lunch and a nice visit. The boys found their preferred method of transportation here. As long as it has wheels and a steering wheel they're set...no horses for them.
Having a snack at a gas station on the way home Sunday. We made it home before 6 and got everything pulled out of the camper and cleaned up.
Monday night after work Daddy was moving the camper into the new shop. Tyson was helping him and then he dissappeared. Theron found him catching a rest...it was a tiring weekend :)
