As I mentioned in our last post, the reason we chose Canada for our vacation was because of a wedding. My good friend Lindsey, from TFalls was married in a perfect ceremony at a resort in Whistler.
Here she and her parents were getting ready to walk down the isle. Unfortunately there were no pictures during the ceremony, as we were trying to keep Devin from breaking all the glasses and decorations that were easily accessible :)
Kaitlyn did manage to hold Lindsey's bouquet for awhile afterward...
Morgan sweet-talked one of the bridesmaids into one of her own. We've decided that Morgan is already planning her own wedding (at 6) because she was taking mental notes throughout the evening.

We had a great time and hung out with some fellow Montanan's - the Taylors. It was great to catch up as we hadn't seen eachother in over 5 years.
After that we headed in for the reception....also perfectly planned. And Lindsey, being the party-planner that she is (and always has been) made individual activity bags for the kids at the reception.

and Kaitlyn's. They were full with books, crayons, paper, disposable cameras, and little snacks. It was so clever (and thoughtful). She also catered to their liking and severed Mac and Cheese as the main course for the kids only.

We had a great time at the wedding but called it quits about 10pm, as the kids hadn't napped and were quickly turning into pumpkins.

Sunday we got up nice and early and headed back into Vancouver to do some site-seeing (see 3rd post).

Monday we opted to do the Peak to Peak Gondola rides before we left Whistler.
What happens at a ski-resort in the winter? bikes...lots of Mountain bikes!

We managed to find some snow drifts, which is always fun in July.
The 2nd leg of the ride was the actual Peak to Peak. It ran from where we were standing straight across. It's an unsupported span of 3 km's (< 2 miles) but in the middle, you're suspended at 1,430 ft above the valley floor.
Devin was all about it...he's not scared :)
