Sunday (the day after the wedding) we headed back toward Vancouver to check out a few things there.
Glaciers in the back on the Sea to Sky highway.
Kaitlyn was the only child that was awake, and next to a door so she got in on all the pictures.
A nice rock outcropping near the bay. We climbed up on this rock and looked behind us and it was straight down about 200 fee to a skinny little train track and water. So we are actually hanging onto eachother for dear life :)
Our first stop was the Vancouver Aquarium. It was awesome but a little crowded because it was Sunday.
Devin was oooing and awwwing all over the place.
Jellyfish was the featured exhibit and they were all sizes and colors...so cool.
The exhibits are made for kids to climb on and around...which was perfect for us :)
They had an Amazon rainforest (that was hot and humid) but cool to see turtles, tropical birds, butterflies everywhere, monkeys, and even a sloth...didn't even know they were real.
The had a huge frog wing too that had all sorts of colors and sizes. Kaitlyn even got to see her favorite Poison Dart Frogs.
The girls, Grandma and Daddy saw the dolphin show from above. The boys and I watched underwater through windows...which was pretty cool too.
This way they could also play in the kids center...Tyson took the rescue boat operations pretty seriously.
The penguins. It was a hot day for these fellas but they were still cute.
They even did a little parade before the Beluga Whale show.
They had two beautiful Beluga whales that did some tricks and splashed the crowd a few times.

Sea otters...they were pretty entertaining.
The Aquarium is in a park called Stanley Island. This was one of the little boats coming into Vancouver.
We were going to find some beach to swim at but there was a seaside pool that looked more to our liking.
The kids tore up the waterslides and then Devin and Daddy took a walk along the seawall to checkout some of the island while Mommy and big kids kept swimming.
We stayed as long as we could, knowing we had a drive back to camp and dinner to make. It was a great day but could have easily spent 2 days at Stanley Island alone. Maybe next time :)
