Normally for the 4th we pack up the camper and head out...but this year we had too much to work on around the house so we hosted the neighborhood BBQ and fireworks show. We had way too much food and just the right amount of fireworks.
What else do you do on the 4th of July but light a bonfire and watch fireworks...?

The dads handled the fireworks...which was awesome. Somebody was the designated lighter and everyone would turn and run back toward the barn as it was lit. It was rather funny to watch them scramble.
Just a line up of 1,000 LOUD firecrackers...that went on for about 5 minutes...must be a boy-thing 'cause they were grinning the whole time at how awesome it was.
Devin even got to light a few little ones.
The lighting just got worse and worse after this so not many pictures turned out well enough for the blog :) The kids had a great time (2 nights in a row) with the fireworks!

Saturday we took a trip to Whitehall to the pool. This was the crowd when we showed up. Yes, I'll drive 15 more miles any day to avoid the crowds in Bozeman :)

Tyson just keeps to himself and swims, twirls and floats all over the place. He loves the water!
Morgan is becoming a good swimmer.
She's over being in the shallow end so she's been practicing.
A trip to the shallow end to play with this boy is always fun though :)
