So we were a lot more involved in the fair this year because of Kailtyn's 4-H. We had volunteered to help with the clubs' fair booth assembly on Monday afternoon.
The finished product.
We came back on Tuesday to find that our club had won the Grand Prize!
Tuesday morning she had interviews for her cat and cooking projects. This was the cat interview and she did awesome on it!
I didn't get a picture but she ended up getting a Grand Champion ribbon on her Cat Photo Book. All she knows is she got a HUGE purple ribbon and if you plan to visit our house in the near future you will get to see it and hear all about it :) She was very proud, as she should be!
Blue ribbons on her cooking (Ginger Snap Cookies, Banana Bread & Corn Muffins)
She got only one red ribbon on her cat bag that she had sewn earlier this year.
Blue on the pillow case
Then a blue and a Reserve Grand Champion on her Pajama Pants. She was pretty proud as her only goal was to get one blue ribbon this year.
She did have to do a fashion review in the animal barn (which was weird) but she enjoyed it (kinda).
Her and I also volunteered in the concession stand two different days and helped cleanup on Sunday so it was a very eventful week and we met a lot of very involved 4-H families.
