We made quite a few appearances at the fair this year...Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Some days were longer (and hotter) than others but all in all it was good.
Wednesday night the kids wanted to watch Maggie do the pig wrestling.

She barely missed it.
Yeah, the pig won this bout and they went home with a bunch of "gooey mud" as Devin would say.
After that we stopped by the petting zoo.
They lined up for the grain.
This guy was huge and very nice. His horn pinched Kaitlyn's finger between it and the gate so she wasn't a fan.
Devin couldn't get enough of him.
Brushing a cow...good times.
They even had sharks in a tank. We never caught the show but apparently divers swam with them.

Friday we took in the rides...and a saw a really big horse.
Kaitlyn insisted on paying for all of us to see this horse. I don't think it hit her that she spent 5 of the 7 dollars she brought to the fair for us to see a Clydesdale. But...it's what she wanted.
As usual we put 100 miles on the semi-trucks.
Devin didn't really enjoy it (yeah right).
Tyson squooze into the cars this year.
I told him that it may be the last year he can ride them and apparently he will worry about that next year because he just had fun :)
Devin was hilarious on this ride. He kept looking back the car behind them go up and down and laughing nervously. He either thought it was going to run him over or he didn't realize that his car was going up and down too.
Oh the Dragon Roller Coaster...
...I don't have a picture of them on it at night (because I don't know how to make my camera take pictures at night) but when it was 11 o'clock the Carnie let them ride it non stop (because there was no line) for an entire hour. Seriously. Morgan and Devin were in the front seat, Kaitlyn and Tyson behind them and they just rode over and over...
Tyson and his buddy Pierce met up for some rides...they had a great time.
Kaitlyn was nice enough to ride around and around with Devin.
Merry go Round
Thankfully this was the only ride that Mommy had to ride w/. We rocked it and I took my first selfie. Yup the first (and maybe last) :)

They even did the spinny bear ride by themselves. Good thing because only Daddy does those kind of rides :)

Saturday we were functioning (barely) but the kids dressed up like cowboys and played for awhile. I thought it was cute (obviously) that Woody upgraded from a handgun to an AR.

The 3 older kids and I went back to the fair around noon on Saturday for Kaitlyn's fashion revue. We had time and were cooperative so we saw a bunch of exhibits that we usually don't.

...and we entered him up in the tractor pull. Seriously, this kid is made for this.
He made it through all the rounds (the weight depended on their age)
and ended up winning it :) He was so funny.
His prize...a green ribbon :)
He was feeling brave so he tried the bull riding too. He didn't fare too well but had alot of fun on it.

Not so cute...little creepy. Thankfully it didn't stay on too long :)
